One of the really big changes was removing the Dynamic flag for all spells so that they no longer interact with the Dynamic light limit. Removes almost all Light flags (such as Dynamic, Flicker, etc.) so that spells don't interfere/interact with lighting limits. Spells will no longer emit light (Fade, Radius, and Near Clip are reduced to 0). I know of no way to remove/alter that effect. This allows you to play a proper Sneak Mage or Night Blade without being instantly spotted just for holding a spell in your hand. Lights On: Spells emit light similar to a torch so you can now see your surroundings in darkness without another light source. None of the old assets were used in these 2 new versions which are now much improved.
My two mods Lights On and Lights Out have both been entirely rebuilt from the ground up.
